Welcome to the Northern Lights Pyrotechnic Club, Inc. We are an organization made up of members from across New England and the Tri-State Area as well as from around the world. Our mission is to promote a safe and legal passion, more commonly known as the pyrotechnic arts.
Envisioned in 2006 and formed during the summer of 2007, we are one of the youngest clubs on the block, but we’re catching up. From our humble beginnings as a group of strangers shooting fireworks on a beach, we have grown into a tight knit group of friends, bound together by a common love.
Our membership is made up of enthusiasts, amateur pyrotechnicians, and professional display operators. With a wealth of information, knowledge, and experience available to all club members, advancing our members level of skill comes rather easy. Have you ever wanted to work on a public fireworks show? If so, you have come to the right place as many of our professionals welcome club members to their shows (ATF background check required).
Membership in the Northern Lights Pyrotechnic Club, Inc has many advantages.
•We are welcomed by many wholesalers and retailers as a preferred customer, gaining special members-only pricing.
•We, typically, have three or four meetings each year, not only for the conduction of club business but also for training. Guest speakers, many of whom are pillars of not only the national but also international fireworks communities, regularly attend our meetings to give seminars on all aspects of fireworks, both consumer and display.
•In addition to our regularly scheduled meetings, we have three club shoots each year. Being licensed and insured, we go through the same permitting process as we would to put on a municipal 4th of July show. We can therefore put on shows at our club shoots in the not so pyro-friendly states where many of our members reside.
•Ultimately, we are a social club, composed of people with common interests. We are very family oriented, we not only welcome but encourage the attendance and participation of every members family.
